How does PlayStation Gameshare work?
In the simplest terms, it allows you and another person to connect your libraries of games purchased on the PlayStation store and to access them collectively with fewer restrictions attached. For this process, you will only need access to a friend's PS4 and your main account details.
Can PSN ban you for game sharing?
You won't get banned for gamesharing but it's TECHNICALLY against TOS to gameshare and those reasons where from the perspective of the Sony's customer services. It's not enforced really, as too many people gameshare and Sony is fully aware of this.
Can you not Gameshare on PlayStation anymore?
You can only share your games and PlayStation Plus benefits with accounts on one PS5 console with Console Sharing and Offline Play activated and your primary PS4 console.
Do you have to have PSN to play games?
There is one big exception to the PS Plus requirement — free-to-play games. Popular titles like Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Warzone allow online multiplayer without PS Plus. Sony doesn't require a subscription for these “free to play” games since they are already generating revenue from in-game microtransactions.
