Does the Staten Island Ferry have food?
STATEN ISLAND (WABC) -- Concessions are coming back to the Staten Island Ferry. Many ferry riders will be happy to hear they'll soon be able to enjoy food and drinks during their 25-minute or so ride on the ferry.
Can you eat on the ferry NYC?
No outside food or beverages shall be consumed on board NYC Ferry vessels at any time. For the safety of our riders and for a pleasant trip, we ask that you please finish your food and beverage items before you board our vessels.

They're finally bringing back snacks and drinks after a four-year hiatus. Although the Staten Island Ferry is surrounded by water, it's been feeling a little dry lately. In case you didn't notice, the service stopped serving alcohol onboard just before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Is it worth doing the Staten Island Ferry?
A must do. This is definitely one thing to do, whether you are travelling from NY to Staten Island or just want to get a great view of the Statue of Liberty. We stayed on Staten Island and used the Ferry twice a day. It runs every 30 minutes and is smooth, with great views.
